Set a target price
Tell Pricafy the price you'd pay, and we'll only email you once a drop brings the product to that price or lower.

What you'll get
The card shows your target and how far the price still has to fall, and you only get an email once the price reaches it.
Before you start
- You're signed in and the product is tracked (see the guide "Track a product").
- Target prices are set only on your dashboard, on the product's card. Product pages don't have a target field.

Step 1
Click Edit on the product card
Open your dashboard (My Tracking in the menu) and find the product. Without a target, its card says Tracking with smart alerts (no target set). Click Edit next to it.

Pick a preset or type a price
The Target price (optional) box opens. Type the price you'd pay, or click a preset to fill it in:
- -10%, -20% or -30%: that much below today's price.
- Lowest ever: the lowest price we've recorded for this product.
Under the box you see how far below today's price your target is. Enter the target in the currency shown next to the box. It can differ from the currency you picked in the header.
Cancel closes the box without changing anything.

Step 3
Save and check the confirmation
Click Save. A confirmation shows your target, today's price and the drop still needed, and the card now shows your target.
From now on:
- We check the price every 24 hours.
- We email you when the price drops by at least your MIN DROP % (5% unless you change it in Settings) and is at or below your target.
- You get at most one email per product every 24 hours, and only by email.

Step 4
Change or remove the target
Click Edit again to change the target. To remove it, clear the box and click Save. The card goes back to Tracking with smart alerts (no target set), and you get an email on any drop of at least your MIN DROP %.
If it didn't work
- Target is above the current price — you'll be alerted only after a later drop that meets your MIN DROP %: your target is higher than today's price. You can still save it, but no email is sent straight away. To wait for a real bargain, pick a lower target.
- There's no target field on the product page: that's expected. Track the product first, then click Edit on its dashboard card.
- Save does nothing: the box takes a number above 0, or leave it empty to remove the target.
- Your target disappeared after saving: it didn't reach our server, for example because the connection dropped. Set it again.
- The price reached your target but no email came: emails arrive 30 minutes to 12 hours after we spot the drop. Check your spam folder and make sure notifications are on in Settings.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to set a target price?
No. Without one, you get an email on any drop of at least your MIN DROP %.
What price does Lowest ever use?
The lowest price Pricafy has recorded for this product since we started checking it.
Will I get an email the moment the price hits my target?
No. Prices are checked every 24 hours, and each email arrives 30 minutes to 12 hours after we spot the drop.
Can I get target alerts on Telegram?
No. The web app sends alerts by email only.
